Find Help

People of Progress offers these services on-site:

Food Bank

Our food bank is open Monday – Friday 9am-11am and 2pm-4pm for referrals from community partners.  Clients who have a place to cook can receive up to 10 days’ worth of food.  Clients without a place to cook or store food at the time of service are provided meals in smaller quantities that do not require cooking or refrigeration.

Clothing is available from 10-11am Monday-Friday.  We provide a voucher to shop in our thrift store for one outfit every 6 months.  Fire victims can receive 2 outfits.  There is also free clothing in our intake room including socks, shoes, tops, pants, coats, sweatshirts, hats and gloves.  Clients can take one of each item once per month.

Bus passes

Bus passes are available during the Emergency Food and Resource Program hours of 9am-12pm.

We provide referrals for free cell phones, benefits (CalFresh, cash aid, etc.), utilities, shelter, clothing, food banks, legal services, domestic violence, veteran services, employment, tax preparation, transportation, medical services, diapers, IDs, budget/strategy and more.
