Food Bank

Our food bank is open Monday – Friday 9am-1pm and 2-4pm by appointment.  If a client has a place to cook, they can receive 10 days’ worth of meals one time per month.  If a client does not have a place to cook or refrigerate food, we provide a day pack, which includes food for 3 meals.


Clothing is available from 10-11am Monday-Friday.  We provide a voucher to shop in our thrift store for one outfit every 6 months.  Fire victims can receive 2-3 outfits.  There is also free clothing in our intake room including socks, shoes, tops, pants, coats, sweatshirts, hats and gloves.  Clients can take one of each item once per month.

Bus passes

Bus passes are issued for job interviews, medical appointments, or visits to other agencies.  Please make an appointment – 530-243-3811 – for bus passes.


We provide referrals for free cell phones, benefits (CalFresh, cash aid, etc.), utilities, shelter, clothing, food banks, legal services, domestic violence, veteran services, employment, tax preparation, transportation, medical services, diapers, IDs, budget/strategy and other information.
